- 1. bring the two ends together, insert the two ends of the connecting link into the ends of the chain;
- 2. press the two halves together;
- 3. lock the connecting link by pulling the chain outward
- Disassembly:
- 1. squeeze the plates of the connecting link together while pushing them inward;
- 2. remove the connecting halves from the chain ends
